Semi-rimless glasses
With a half-frame design, the retro round glasses can be paired with a very thin metal frame, indicating the literary and elegant temperament. The frame with only the upper part of the lenses circle covering the lens integrates lightness and steadiness, highlighting the sense of fashion, not only shows the wisdom of business elites but the natural and free affinity. They are not heavy and relatively firm. It is suitable for different kinds of occasions. It can be used for business occasions, leisure occasions, and parties. It is stylish and composed, reflecting the quality of life.
Can you look at your phone while wearing polarized sunglasses?
That's because polarized lenses filter the light from some phones, leaving only black stripes visible.Polarized sunglasses have polarized lenses, and cell phone screens have polarized patches in their components. The polarized film has the function of shielding and passing through the incident light, which can make the longitudinal light or transverse light one kind of passing through, one kind of obscured. Because different phones have different polaroid settings, there will be different shades at different viewing angles. Thanks to a combination of polarizing lenses and lenses, both of which filter the direction of light, the screen can't be seen when the shielding and penetrating parts overlap.
How polarized glasses can help you drive
The most important thing about polarized sunglasses is that they can be a good helper when you drive. When sunlight hits your eyes at an awkward angle, these sunglasses will save your life and save you from potential accidents. Polarized glasses can filter out the sunlight reflected from objects such as roads, snow, water, and other objects. It helps to neutralize the effects of reflected sunlight. Polarized sunglasses bring you an incredibly safe driving experience, with almost no interference and no harm to your eyes.
At night, glare and embarrassing lights are everywhere on the road, especially because random drivers come from the opposite side. Some of these driving high beams may disrupt your vision and cause potential accidents. Polarized sunglasses help reduce glare and save your life. Polarized lenses hardly reflect.
What Are the Disadvantages of High-Index Lenses?
This section will show high index lenses disadvantages.
- High index lenses are made from a chemical synthetic blend that’s created through a special manufacturing process. So, high index lenses are expensive than regular lenses. In fact, the price may be more than double that of the traditional counterparts.
- High index lenses can be more brittle than their traditional counterparts and may also be more prone to scrapes and scratches. This can impact their overall durability.
- High index lenses are more reflective than regular lenses, which can make them less effective for brightly lit work environments, outdoor use and nighttime driving on busy highways.
- High index lenses have greater potential for distortion, particularly in your peripheral vision because the high index lenses have a higher Abbe value than prescriptions made from standard plastic or glass.
There are three processes for resin-changing lenses.
The incorporation method, known as bulk polymerization, is similar to the method of glass lens, that is, one or more photochromic dyes are directly incorporated into the polymer monomer of the substrate for bulk polymerization, and the lens formed after curing will change color. Discoloration dye is completely integrated into the resin lens substrate, so the lens made of color persistence is very good.
The uniformity of discoloration and the depth of color after discoloration are highly related to the thickness of the lens. Because the thickness of the lenses at all levels is different, there will be a color difference between the depth of discoloration and the uniformity, and the uneven phenomenon of high brightness is more obvious.
The film type is known as the coating method. It is the chromatic resin lens by coating or dipping in a layer of chromatic dye on the base of the resin lens. Because the coating covers the surface of the lens, the color uniformity is good. The coating, which is only about 0.05mm thick, does not provide enough molecules to make the lens dark enough, so the color is relatively less dark, and the discoloration lasts slightly longer.
Infiltration, known as the penetration method, is to use the principle of penetration, through the thermal diffusion method to make the color dye permeate the surface of the resin lens sheet material, with diffusion depth up to 0.15~0.20mm. The lens has a constant color change characteristic. There will be no inconsistency between the center and the surrounding color as the luminosity gets darker. The color-changing resin lens made by infiltration type has the benefits of uniform color-changing, small color difference, fast and thorough color-fading, which is the mainstream of color-changing technology at present.
Zeiss lenses
Carl Zeiss AG is a German company that manufactures optical systems, industrial measuring instruments, and medical equipment. The name of the company comes from one of its founders, German optician Carl Zeiss (1816-1888). It was established in Jena in 1846 by Carl Zeiss, Ernst Abbe and Otto Schott.
Zeiss resin lens guarantees up to 99.4% of the lens light transmittance. The naked eye can no longer feel whether the lens is worn or not. So far, only Zeiss, the leading optical industry, can bring such extraordinary extreme effects. Moreover, in order to ensure the good imaging quality of the lens and make the lens longer life, Zeiss also adopted a new coating design, imported from Korea. The unique professional technology is combined with nanotechnology so that they manufacture the good quality of the top lens.
Injection frame
Acetate cellulose pellets are extruded by an injection molding machine, which is called an injection frame. Its characteristic is that it saves raw materials, can be mass-produced, has a lower cost, and is cheaper than a plate rack. But the firmness is not as good as the plate frame. However, injection frames are mostly used for glasses for the elderly and children because of their lightweight and resistance to allergies. The injection frame is made of laminated plastic. It is made by pasting a thin layer of plastic of one color on another thicker layer of plastic. Thick materials are mostly transparent pigments. It is also made of three or more layers of plastic.
