What Are Blue Light Glasses?
Blue light blocking glasses have specially crafted lenses that are said to block or filter out the blue light given off from digital screens. The lenses are often marked with a coating that protects your eyes from eye strain and can help reduce potential damage to your retina from prolonged exposure to blue light.
How do bifocal reading glasses work?
Bifocal reading glasses have two different lenses on the same lens. The top of the lens is your normal distance prescription, while the bottom is for close-up viewings, like reading. The two lenses allow you to alternate between them by moving your eyes up and down as needed. A bifocal lens is a type of lens that has two different areas of vision: one for close range and one for long-range. Typically, the upper section covers remote vision and the lower section covers reading. With a traditional bifocal lens, you can see the difference between the two lenses because the lower curve is a little different.

How do you know Ray Ban's frames are real?
Ray-ban Spectacle Case
The true Ray-ban spectacle case has good workmanship and thick leather. The case is covered with flannel. There are MADE IN ROMANIA words in the case. The leather of the imitation is rough and has two layers, one of which is pure hard plastic.
Ray-ban glasses lens cloth
The authentic Ray-ban glasses lens cloth is silver-gray, with the Ray-ban logo, and the lens cloth is shorter than the regular glasses cloth. The imitation is different in color, lacks hierarchy.
Ray-ban glasses ear rests
The authentic Ray-ban eyeglass glasses ear rests are made of metal, comfortably wrapped, and removable. The copies are not filled, and some cannot be taken off at will.
Ray-ban Glasses manual
There is not much difference in the instructions. The red part of the original is lighter than the imitation.
If you need reading glasses when using a computer, you may want to choose a lower reading glasses power. This is because most people view their screen from a greater distance from their eyes than when they are reading a book or a magazine.
However, if you need reading glasses for looking at something very close or very small, you may need a pair of stronger power glasses.
In most cases, when two reading glasses’ powers seem equally suitable, choose the glasses with the lower power. Picking reading glasses that are too string typically will cause more discomfort problems than reading glasses that are a little too weak.
What does the Drop Ball Test have to do with the eyewear industry?
FDA mandates that eyewear products must ensure their safety. Impact resistance is a basic norm for binding glasses and/or lenses in the United States. The FDA does say that a drop ball test must be performed on every glass lens for prescription use. The FDA-regulated eyewear products are common in the everyday lives of the public, and the FDA considers impact-resistant lenses to be an important part of the safe design of these devices. Today, safety lenses are rarely mentioned in our sales, but in the 1990s, when resin lenses first entered the Chinese market and glass lenses still dominated the market, safety lenses were a pretty important concept. At the time, the hardening technology has not been upgraded, and the resin lens is easy to wear out than the glass lens. The eyewear industry is relying on lightness, safety (anti-impact), comfort (anti-ultraviolet) step by step to achieve the market share of resin lenses from 1% to 100%.
What Should You Do If Your Glasses Are Broken?
Adjust the frame by yourself. If your frame is tilted, place your glasses on a flat surface to determine which arm is higher than the other. If the right arm looks raised, you'll need to use pliers to bend the left arm down at the hinge. Or, if the left arm is raised, bend the right arm at the hinge. You can bend your metal-framed arms inward. You can turn the nose pad inward if the glasses slip under your nose. To make the frames more flexible, you can heat them with a hairdryer. If the metal frame has broken into pieces, you may need to take it to a professional. However, if your metal frames just bend, you may be able to repair them by yourself.
